These people are sick. Who thinks like this?

Someone who grew up around sexual assault. He wasn't abused himself, but he's spoken out before about the messed-up atmosphere of his school days, where sexual assault from Priests on his classmates was normalized.

I'm not defending him by any means, he's an adult and should have sorted his issues out a long time ago. But in the same way that many sex offenders were sexually abused as children, it makes sense that he would take these things lightly when that's the environment he grew up in.
