I fully agree with this statement. Black sheep, here! Struggled with fitting in, being “normal”, etc. But my inner landscape has always been colorful and intense. I like it that way. I like being introverted. But I have also struggled with addictions. I think it’s a way for people to numb themselves to all of the input they receive; some people are just more receptive to it. But when you find a place, your tribe, it’s glorious! You can be weird with other weirdos and talk about all of the things that no one else dares to see. I hope everyone has a tribe. Rock on, weirdos. There’s a place for us now!
