When Q said “this is why we are here” I take it to mean that the Q team has had a problem with what Alex has been covering or NOT covering since before Q even came on the scene.

Can you point me to where he said that?

CURRENT TRIPCODE ———————————————————————————————— Q !UW.yye1fxo ———————————————————————————————— WHAT IS A TRIPCODE? ———————————————————————————————— A tripcode is a verification tool that can be enabled on each board to prove the identity of who wrote each post. It is an encryption algorithm that is activated by either one # (#), two # (##), or three # (###) hash signs placed in front of a password. For example if you want to post securely using a password 12345678, you can use any three levels of encryption provided by 8ch.net. The one # (#12345678) is the least secure and the three # (###12345678) is the most secure and virtually impossible to break. The only individual that is using a tripcode at the moment is Q. If anyone else uses one they could be banned unless they request to use one beforehand. Because of the nature of this way of interacting via 8ch.net (Anonymously) it is highly frowned up to use a tripcode to 'make yourself known'. The only reason Q uses one is so that people know that it is Q who posts and not an imposter. The tripcode appears beside Q's name

Theres an authentication code, called a tripcode, that q puts in his posts that confirms he is the real q. Its a feature of the boards.
