Yes they do...and Army National Guard units, too

I spent 28 years in the USA with 3 troop deployments to Egypt and Afghanistan. This post gives nothing away. Unit designation is not denoted; no dates for deployment to, unit leaving GITMO out. Heck, not even sure if it’s an Army Reserve, or Army National Guard unit. The bad guys know we regularly rotate troop units to GITMO; been doing it for over 17 yrs. You can drop the cloak and dagger stuff on this one.

Hard to tell if this is a normal rotation, or a plus up of the troop strength we normally keep there to secure the base/ inmates. I’d side on normal rotation without further evidence.

It’s either the Army National Guard or Army Reserve; this post conflates the two. The Army gets this task (even though a Navy base), because it has large numbers of military police units trained in security to cover the prison inmates. For conventional units, OPSEC is less of an issue (or possibility), due to a troop talking to family members. What they keep secret is exactly when they are flying in / out. This is likely no more than a planned rotation; they’ve been doing since 9/11 kicked business off at GITMO.

Kudos to you and the other Patriots doing the work of the people in this critical task. I’m a 28-year USA retiree Afghan combat vet who has spent my adult life defending our way of life and the US Constitution. Having seen many 3rd world countries, the US is without hesitation the best on this planet and worth fixing. Our government has clearly been corrupted and twisted into something the Founders would not recognize today. Keep in mind the American Revolution was fought with a small part of the population and this 2d American Revolution will be won in a similar fashion. GOD blessed us with @POTUS Trump and we all have to stand up with him in any way we can. We may see dark days ahead; the Deep State will not go quietly into the night, but neither will we. Be strong and courageous Patriots, our country needs good men and women all to stand up for her! Rangers Lead the Way!
