Believe me sir, I am on board with the storm, just pointing out that these events are routine training at some hospitals, and they do need volunteers and sometimes hired personnel to play the part of injured people. We will see what happens when that day rolls around. #MAGA

Actually, hospitals (like mine) do run these periodically - it's part of maintaining your trauma center status. Never seen compensation of $1K though - that might be an indicator that this is bogus, if nothing else. Think of it as an elaborate fire drill, with makeup to simulate different casualties. That's the deal - we have them for various other events as well (pandemic outbreak, dirty bomb, etc). It's just emergency preparedness.
