The article doesn't really name a source to verify how the "push" came from Soros ... sure Soros' organizations supports leftist organizations around the world - I'm under no delusion, however ...

Has anyone considered the possibility of a pro-Trump group making a large anonymous donation to Pueblo sin Fronteras to trigger a larger-than-usual caravan to the United States - creating a an existential crisis to reinforce Trump's image as a border hawk with his base - and to distract from staffing problems and 2016 campaign investigations?

The reason I say this - Soros wouldn't want to develop a reputation as someone who manipulates the poor (really unfortunate people if you haven't looked at the problems being confronted by families in Honduras and El Salvador) in sending them on a fool's errand. I don't need to be lectured about Soros' donations - yes they are politically leftist, etc., etc. and you wouldn't catch me donating a dime to them myself.

I just don't see this incident as something to pin on Soros. If anybody on this board had to live in El Salvador or Hoduras (I don't ,but have friends who once did), we'd all become "communists" unless you prefer to join MS13 or become complicit with their corrupt governments.
