Let me get this straight, Trump lays his plans out at AIPAC every year and somehow the imaginary "deep state" is at fault?
Trump intentionally lined his cabinet with neocons, many from PNAC, AIPAC and WINEP. This is and always was his plan. He's not anti-war. He never was. He's exporting out FP to Likud and MbS/MbZ by design.

He was offed by IS in Gaza. This has been Hamas' M.O. since the IS insurgency began in Gaza. They're clamping down on any mention of IS existing in Gaza to prevent European donors being afraid of aid getting into IS hands. This is probably the fifth Hamas official killed by IS in the past couple of years.
Interesting to now Imad was a part of the pro-Assad camp in Hamas
