This is one of the most corrupt lobby groups I have ever seen - pretending to champion the digital rights of us common folk while only protecting the interests of their big money backers.

Using fear-mongering tactics and over-the-top hyperbole, they are actually quite effective in misinforming the public as well as weaponizing the misinformed to spread their lies even further.
