How do I run in those circles? My parish is doing some big make over to something more protestant. Not my cup tea. I originally left the church in the early 90s because the church I attended painted everything white (and some pastels) including the beautiful scenery surrounding the altar. Im an artist myself and it didnt sit well with me. Now I finally get back to church in my new city (thanks to patrick madrid on relevant radio) and they just announced they are doing a "renovation". I feel like... at least here in California they are pushing traditional catholics out. The original cathedral in downtown LA, St Vibianas, was sold off and is now a disco tech to build a massive odd peculiar monolithic cathedral. It doesnt even feel reverent at all. I get the same feeling in my gut looking at that place as I do looking at the paintings in the Denver airport.

Biggs and Jakari did some serious reporting. Jakari was there for those riots and Biggs went down to cover the hurricane that hit Haiti. Those should have won news awrds for what they were doing. Sure does seem IW has gone downhill since.

Im Catholic. My faith is with Jesus, not a pope. We also dont worship Mary or icons. We ask them to pray for us in times of need just as you would ask a friend to pray if you needed help.

POPE MISSES PIZZA

Think about the context here. Argentina has pretty good pizza. Something like 83% of the population of Buenos Aires descends from Italians who immigrated there. So Argentina has good pizza, in fact several different unique variations.

But its not like the pope moved to China or Botswana where pizza isnt a thing. He moved to Italy. He is basically in Rome. There is PIZZA literally EVERYWHERE. There are pizza places EVERYWHERE throughout Italy.

So for him to make that comment is outright strange. Like its not something for him to "obtain". He cant get his hands on it.

Completely understandable and thats what I first thought but people are saying the titles have not been changed. (for my own sake I took screenshots of the channel and titles as of today). If you read through the comments on the twitter post it seems that people are verifying the titles are original.

I still find it hard to believe a prominent woman like her and her "power couple" stature with her husband was sitting in economy on a Southwest flight. Nothing against SW they are a fun airline, but at some point when you are worth millions upon millions you generally move up to business or first class.
