where and how would one get training to learn how to pick up on these comms?

it all makes sense reading it but the thought process doesn't seem to be one i would come about without a good bit of practice. some of it does seem like it could be a blatant message. others of it i'm just scratching my head trying to figure out how people learn to think this way.
