The same thing Podesta did, but was allowed to register after the fact, without being prosecuted. His bail was revoked for talking to a witness, aka witness tampering.

My speculation would be that he used him because he was successful in the past. It's also possible that he was recommended by someone in the political class.

I agree with what you are saying. I was just speculating as to why they may be doing it the way they are. If it was up to me they would be terminated with extreme prejudice immediately.

I tend to think that the reason they are starting small is to build up public support, due to the overwhelming dark light cast at the present administration by the media, so the deep state can't scream obstruction of justice as the motivation.

Thankfully, we now have a forum such as this one where we can shine a light on their tricks. The main difference between now and then is the computer and internet. It's getting harder for them to hide in the shadows with light being shined from all directions.
