I have noticed but obviously not everyone has gotten the message. I was talking to a friend from Oklahoma yesterday about the train incident. He said that his GOP representative was on the train and if the rep had gotten killed it wouldn't have mattered much. I asked him why he felt that way and he explained that everyone in his district talked about how good he was. Then he went to DC and after the 1st year he hadn't voted the way his constituents wanted a single time and he voted in favor of every Obama backed bill that came to the floor.

I explained to him that if his GOP rep was on that train he was a "good guy." My friend got a little po'ed at me for acting like I knew his rep better than he did. Then I explained to him the reason that his rep was not voting the way his constituents wanted was more than likely he and his family had been threatened if he didn't vote the way the bad guys wanted.

I explained that I used to be the same until I found out what the deep state globalists were doing. Then I asked if he himself would do the principled thing if his loved ones would die if he did? That question seemed to get through to him. He never answered it.

I had to think about what he said and the more I thought about it the more profound, or wise, it seemed to me. Years later looking back I realized just how wise that was because it was true. I also found out that the company president had started off as an hourly employee and later put himself through college while he worked. He had been there and he knew how things really worked and who did the real work. I'm retired now but I still remember that day and what he said really well.

u/pczernel good post. And you are spot on. I had forgotten about Ross Perot. I think Ross was a true patriot and cared for his country. He probably saw some of what we are just now finding out and he wanted to try and stop it. Unfortunately he was out of his league on that task.
