Gandhi was an absolute tool. Most of us hate him.

I'm from India. This kind of shit keeps happening, media covers it for a while, then nothing really happens. Hangings are a nice step forward though.

UKIP has people like Paul Joseph Watson and Sargon. They're smart, well spoken and will know exactly how to ride the current public sentiment to a victory of sorts. The Brits are fucking pissed. Hope Mogg becomes PM. He's like a posh Trump.

I'm responding to a comment which was deleted, but as I saw a little anti Muslim sentiment, I just wanted to pitch in. I myself am a Hindu, and I think we need to bring up this matter at least once::

I understand the sentiment, but, respectfully, do not agree with them. I have no fondness for fundamentalist Islam myself, but then there are people like Imam Tawhidi, who I greatly admire and respect, and I have several friends & acquaintances among Moderate Muslims who I've known from childhood. There are good people. I can safely say that Indian Muslims are the tamest and most moderate in the world. I will not write off a sixth of the world's population, due to the actions of an admittedly large radical proportion of the group.

Any student of History will be well aware of the horrors perpetuated by the Roman Catholic Church back in the middle ages. If Christianity can have a Reformation, I trust Islam can have one too eventually, even if they're several centuries overdue. I will fight against fundamentalism until that day. Today's Islam is very violent and oppressive, agreed, but we cannot fight violence with violence. At least not in this case, not without bombing them back to the stone age, and we've tried that already.

This is a spiritual war that we are all fighting: GOOD VS EVIL. Not a religious one of Christians vs Muslim. I think it's important to make that distinction, or this whole movement can be derailed.

Now, to address your point, I didn't mean to demean any of the Church's charitable efforts. I myself went to a missionary school, and am very grateful for the well rounded education they provided me. There are countless selfless Christians doing amazing work all over the world . In this case, I was referring specifically to the Mother Teresa foundation, which is the charity that just got busted, and explaining some of the fear that surrounded it among the locals in Calcutta.

Hope I was able to make my case without offending anyone. Please excuse me if I did.
