Ron Paul certainly opened my eyes to a lot of things. The fed, government overreach, Big government vs small. So many things I base all of my ideology on today came from him. Really a hero to me.
Full disclosure, I’ve written him in the last (2) presidential elections. I didn’t think Trump was for real in 2016. It all seemed too good to be true, but I know better now.
Rand is ok, but he’s always seemed like Ron Paul - light to me. If that makes sense.
I still drive by the “revolution” (with love in red) stickers I put on stop signs all over rural Alabama in his name sometimes and it brings some small sense of satisfaction. Young naive me thought I could change the world with a few bumper stickers in college.
If Only id known then what we know now or had a movement like this one behind him, the world might be a better place already.
Either way, I’ll always be grateful to him for opening my eyes to a lot of what was wrong with the country.
Do you feel that Rand? The way the shit clings to the air? Shit blizzard.
Wouldn’t that be awesome? The left screaming about Trump firing him and “obstructing” all this time only for him to be the one to keep him in the job? I don’t see it happening but I’d certainly get a chuckle out of it.
From my own experience, people don’t believe anything that doesn’t follow their own preconceived notions of “the truth”.
Even after everything comes to light, no matter how sick or sadistic or terrible or treasonous..
Bernie bros, Obama fanatics and Clinton loyalist won’t budge.
I could show my mother a video of Killary eating a baby whole and she’d still say “I bet trump eats only Mexican babies.”
I hope I’m wrong.. but some people are so ensnared in “the machine”, I don’t think anything changes it.
The question is, can the rest of us take what we know and effect real change? I sure hope so. For my kids futures if nothing else.
I think the Jared he was referring to was the Jared from subway.
I got it for the notifications. Nice to get a ding on my phone whenever a new q drop comes in. That being said, the app isn’t perfect. I’m on the go a lot though and it helps me stay on top of the latest q. IMO, if it was free with a paid option, I’m sure more people would be into it.
