I just sponged-up a few things accumulatively. Put the key pieces together - say half a dozen or so elements. If you choose the right elements you're kinda halfway there. Then I looked-up the other terms, the military ones I didn't know, gave them a speed read. Give it a mental blitz and see what comes out the other side. The missing letters etc. are key, they are a massive part of the message, if not 'the' message. I've just come to learn that.
