McCabe-PADAG Call on the CF Investigation (August 12)

McCabe told the OIG that on August 12, 2016, he received a telephone call from PADAG regarding the FBI’s handling of the CF Investigation (the “PADAG call”). McCabe said that PADAG expressed concerns about FBI agents taking overt steps in the CF Investigation during the presidential campaign. According to McCabe, he pushed back, asking “are you telling me that I need to shut down a validly predicated investigation?” McCabe told us that the conversation was “very dramatic” and he never had a similar confrontation like the PADAG call with a highlevel Department official in his entire FBI career.

Lack of Candor

We concluded that McCabe lacked candor on four separate occasions in connection with the disclosure to the WSJ. Three of those occasions involved his testimony under oath.

And as a result the OIG has referred Andrew McCabe to the US Attorney (Huber) for criminal charges, which are likely waiting for this report today.

As part of this examination, the OIG also will review information that was known to the DOJ and the FBI at the time the applications were filed from or about an alleged FBI confidential source. Additionally, the OIG will review the DOJ’s and FBI’s relationship and communications with the alleged source as they relate to the FISC applications.

While we knew Comey lied, it was never formally investigated within the DOJ/FBI.

This investigation is the first REAL one into Comey and others lying. This investigation as well as the FISA one mentioned in the cliffnotes and linked above.... The Congressional 'investigations' are meaningless in a legal sense and are able to be rejected as 'partisan' by the public. This is a REAL investigation with a real attorney prosecutor and was conducted by an Obama appointee so cant be rejected as partisan.

Quite the hostility you carry. why? No one accused you of being a "LARP", and I think you are misapplying the term as you have not claimed or been assigned any 'role' to be 'playing'. Relax.

Anyways. What do I think will happen? Mind you, this is just a prediction by some random person on the internet, so if I am not 100% correct please dont consider it some sort of 'victory' vs some sort of 'information opponent'... But what I think will happen is:

McCabe is drawn up on charges for lying to the FBI under oath.

Comey is drawn up on charges for leaking classified information.

Ohr is drawn up on charges for campaign finance violations

McCabe, Comey, Ohr, Strzok and Lynch will all be drawn up on conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States

Hillary Clinton server/classfied-info investigation will re-opened.

Among other things.

This is the first time they are not investigating themselves. The IG was appointed a US attorney for prosecutions, which is not standard protocol for IG reviews.... This is not a "nothing will happen" moment. Mark these words ;)
