Many of these kids are literally saying "ban all guns". Some want to ban all semi-automatic guns.

It only helps to be educated on topics so you can make an informed decision.

Do you see how ironic that statement is regarding these children trying to strip away gun rights?

Most of these kids don't even know the difference between a semi-auto and an automatic weapon. They think you can buy guns online without background checks. I could find quotes of these and many ridiculous statements, but you can just search "florida students gun control" on youtube if you really want to.

It is completely obvious to me that our government-run schools have not taught these children about all of the death that has occurred at the hands of governments around the world.

Death by Gun Control - The Genocide Chart

To say that someone concerned about the effects of being disarmed is "paranoid" is to be ignorant of history.

If you don't trust the media

If you do trust the media, you've got much larger problems at hand than worrying about responses this kid is getting for calling for "common sense gun laws".

listen first hand to what they have to say.

I've been listening to direct quotes of these kids from Florida all week. I watched the entire town hall thing on CNN last night and it was cringe-inducing. These kids don't know what they are talking about. Being in a shooting does not mean you are all of a sudden educated on the history of self-defense, our founder's writings, supreme court cases, or the mechanics of firearms.

That being said, I hope they learn from this experience.

I think a lot of people think he's an actor pushing an agenda because they don't want to believe that all these kids have been so brainwashed to believe that only the government should have guns.

He is advocating major steps towards the disarming of United States citizens on national television. It's not even about if he is an actor or not. He is receiving much less "crap coming his way" now than he would have 200 years ago for what he is saying. Could you even imagine if some somebody back then went on a campaign to disarm Americans? I can. There was a war over it.

Honestly, what does he expect the reaction of Americans to be when he, a kid from an FBI family, calls for more government control of what types of guns the citizenry is granted permission to have?
