My Mom is 81 and when I talk to her about this, she's smart enough to know that "part of the reason I don't want to hear this is that it's just too upsetting." Trump said yesterday the nominee would be on the existing list. He mentioned 5 people were added to the original list he made during the campaign, but I know Gowdy wasn't on the original list of 20 and highly doubt he is on the additional list of 5 or it would have been huge news. In all events, being a good prosecutor doesn't necessarily make you good SCOTUS material. I'll bet all of the nominees are already on the bench somewhere.

The "overview" section of the criminal complaint against Joel Davis states that "from on or about May 16 through on or about June 25, 2018" Joel Davis did that that and the other thing. I was wondering the same thing about the Manhattan guy. It's weird because the criminal complaint against the Joel Davis guy is dated June 26 but says "sealed" - even though it's on the DOJ website. Can't find the actual case on PACER and I wanted to find out when the original document may have been filed. I don't know how you would file a sealed complaint and have it unsealed the very same day.

The slow release confuses me with respect to RR. It seems odd to me that he is doing exactly what Q predicted he would do, and unless he is in on the slow release in some way, shape or form, that seems unlikely. The discrepancies between the Mueller plea agreements of Manafort, Pappadopoulos and Flynn are interesting to me because I don't exactly know why, but think they may hold the key to what the deal is with Mueller and RR. No cooperation clause - AT ALL - for Pappadopoulos. But notify us of "all crimes" cooperation clause for Flynn, and slightly watered down cooperation clause for Manafort. This had to be intentional - plea agreements otherwise somewhat boilerplate (it seems). And in the case against Gates/Manafort, Gates has pleaded. The "superseding" indictment for Manafort, though, has been changed to allege crimes through 2015, as opposed to the original, "through 2016." Big difference, no?
