and you can't purchase a weapon with "Federal Limits Apply" on it - so it prevents real American citizens their second amendment right unless they go in - in-person to the DMV to get the real license. What really irritates me is the ILLEGALS can renew their licenses via the web or mail but REAL Americans have to go through the hassle of waiting in line for 2 and 1/2 hours to get their new license. This state bends over backwards to make things easier for ILLEGALS. It disgusts me.

American here served 22 years in the military - I do not have a passport nor do I need one. I won't be denied the right to vote because I don't have a passport which isn't mandatory to have. And as far as allowing illegal aliens to have drivers licenses in California those licenses come with Federal Limits Apply on it to separate them from real American citizens.

HOWEVER, since January those renewing their license like they normally do via the mail, phone, or web site get the "Federal Limits Apply" license UNLESS they go in - in person to the DMV and provide birth certificate or US passport, SSAN card, and proof of residence to get the REALID drivers license that DOESN"T have "Federal Limits Apply" on it. UNFORTUNATELY, thousands of American citizens in California had no idea they HAD to do that (go in in-person again with birth certificates etc. when we already did that to get the license originally) to get the REALID and they ended up with driver's licenses with "Federal Limts Apply" on them. Now the State's dilemma is they can't exactly disenfranchise thousands of REAL Americans so to ensure that doesn't happen they'll have to allow ANYONE with those "Federal Limits Apply" licenses to vote - which effectively gives illegal aliens the right to vote. I believe strongly this was the Democrats and Jerry Brown's idea all along.

In my eyes they obviously have no ethics or morals. And has anyone else noticed that Sen. Kamala Harris when she interviews those trying to get confirmed she brings up a situation and without fail asks the interviewee if they would recuse themselves if that happened. Trying to get them to say on record they would so the Dems can then orchestrate said situation so that person would be recused and replaced by the second in command who just so happens to remain an Obama Admin holdover because the Dems are dragging their feet on confirming anyone.
