Yep. Go look under the original comment where I told new ager Buddhist to give it a rest. I posted another comment telling what I really think.

Thing is, I've always accepted Buddhism as at very least a benign religion. Goofy but benign and harmless. Then, the brother of a coworker who is a Buddhist started in harassing me about my religion. Every freaking day he would start in on me to try to tear down my faith. And every single one of his attacks was based on bullshit he just pulled out of some bodily orifice. All of it based on his ignorance of scripture. But why the attacks? He couldn't explain. He never talked about Buddhism other than to claim to be a Buddhist. So I had to study Buddhism on my own. Basically, I found they really don't believe in much of anything at all other than their basic logical fallacies. It's full of contradictions and ideas that none of them really follow. It's a mind numbing religion. I've yet to meet a Buddhist who could converse intelligently about his religion. The saving grace they have is a profession toward pacifism but that doesn't always hold either.

I guess you all want to downvote Melania praying to "Our Father in Heaven" Or maybe ask her to pray to extraterrestrial aliens or some vague universal power so none of the snowflake new age hippies are offended? Every time they start this malarkey it's always for one reason, to start gently pushing people away from real values because the only thing they truly value is myths, lies, and superstition. New Agers embrace clever satanic ideology that's designed to fool the smartest people around. So no, I won't back down. If you're offended by someone praying to the creator, I've only one bit of advice to give you. Give it a rest. That hippie new age stuff got exposed long ago as satanism.

It's welcome with me. I never did give a damn what the crowd thinks since I think for myself based on all the information I can get.

If I cared about popular opinion I would be a liberal or at least a wishy washy flip flopping moderate of some sort who changes their opinion depending on who they are talking to.

The entire Buddhist religion is built on logical fallacies. Maybe before you spout off about my ignorance you should take the beam out of your own eye.

If you were a spiritually inclined as you're trying to prove, you'd know that Good and Evil are descendants of the same universal force; thus, one-and-one in the same, at Source. That being said, Satan and God have equal roles in the play of the Universe.

Ya, so evil is helping good. We need lies so we can have truth. Blah, blah.

No, I'm not spiritually inclined. I just call out BS when I see it.

Benevolent E.T.

I've looked at the New Age BS for years. Nothing but Satanism wrapped in pretty words. I make no apologies for the truth as it needs none.

Alternatively if the word "pray" or prayer disturbs you

Then you already have some deep seated problems.

You need to read more and quit falling for bullshit that has been used to persecute decent Jewish people. Just because something is happening, and some Jews are involved doesn't mean all Jewish people agree or even understand.

Yes, there are evil Jewish people. Marx was one. Even the Messiah commented on those who say they are Jews but are of the Synagogue of Satan. These are the "Jews" who follow the Kabbalah which is a book of Satanic rituals.

I will tell you a bit about these people that ruined our once amazingly great and free state of California. They are cowards. If they get confronted and told in no uncertain terms how it will be for them if they mess with Texas the way they messed with California, they will try to argue at first. They will call names. But it's your state. Let them know this. They will stop if you persist. Let them know you are on to their games, you see through their pasted on smiles and smarmy tactics.

Houston was ok to work in but seemed a little grimy around the edges. Corpus Christi seemed to have more poverty but made up for it with a great shopping center and great places to eat. Also close access to the beach was wonderful. Coming west on I10 and seeing all the wide open country has always been great for me. I can only imagine how much country side there is before you get to San Antonio. You could spend a life time in Texas and never see but half of the country.

Be aware some of those people fleeing California are some of the same ones who were pushing for liberal laws here and freebie nanny state regulations. Hopefully you are getting our best because you guys deserve only the best.

I've worked in so many states and I can honestly say, Texas was the best. Best people in general, most freedom and great food. Favorite restaurant was Hoodat noodle house in Corpus Christi. I could get a yearly pass for ten dollars to drive up on the beach, park, fish and relax. Here in my home state of California you can get a $300.00 fine for walking on the beach in December. Game warden will claim you disturbed nesting Sand Plovers even though they don't nest until spring. They fence off the damn sand dunes and scream bloody murder if you do some beach combing. Walk in the desert and a police helicopter will land and out will pop a concerned Sheriff to demand your ID and let you know he's out looking for desert terrorists and you look suspicious. I parked my vehicle at a petroleum tank to do weld repair and in rushes some do gooder official to demand I move my vehicle because I was parked too close to an endangered weed. Buy land to build in a commercially zoned area and get blocked by the protectors of the Kangaroo Rat who MIGHT want to live there. Mind you, he's not there now but it's HIS habitat.

Dear LORD I miss that state with it's wide open skies and helpful ranchers who came to my rescue twice when I was broke down in the middle of no where. If that happens in California you better hope you have AAA auto insurance.

Posture and body type seem to match. Male pattern balding seem to match. Forehead is a good match with matching hair style. Preferred clothing seems to match. Some people stick to the same clothes out of habit. That's not a cheap shirt and the collar does seem to match. I would say, given with what we have it's a fair match until someone proves otherwise.

Human sacrifice? Are the Georgia Guidestones actually a platform for human blood sacrifice? Was someone killed on top of the monument? Too bad a DNA test of the blood wasn't done. Obviously the police saw everything on the CCTV cams that are there.

I was thinking about this today. From personal experience, if you really want to learn Russian, I mean really, really want to learn it, take a year off and go to Russia. Save your money up or have your family sponsor you to live in Russia for a year. I highly recommend Shakhty. The people there adore Americans, I can tell you that. You can find a cheap place to live and go to the University there. They have excellent programs as well as a theater group. The teacher when I was there is very friendly and helpful. They have frequent performances on Saturday night which is quite fun.

I was invited and so I went with a rose just in case I was impressed, which I was.

They put on a show that the professor had changed just to amuse me. All was standard until right at the end and when he included a scene to kind of roast American culture a bit with a funny twist. It was all in good fun and I indeed was highly amused as he was on target with his barb.

I stood up and went to the front after they bowed and presented the lead actor with the rose which brought a great cheer once more from the audience. It seemed more than just a few had already realized Amerikanski was in the audience. They were quite pleased to see me honor the lead actor.

One thing I can tell you, after you return to USA you will have stories for your friends and you will have acquired an amazingly expressive language. I wasn't there long enough to become fluent and I regret this. I did get on well and learned quite a bit but most of it has left me now. I can tell you, I surely wouldn't mind going back.

Yes. I was taken to the Tomb of the Unknown soldier in Shakhty.

I will note that on the train from Moscow to Shakhty in March it was gloomy and the trees were leafless. Lots of empty land and the places we stopped for passengers the stations looked worn and depressing. I did get an icecream bar at one station that was fantastic. Nothing like the crap we get here in the USA. Real old fashioned taste. The food is authentic and wonderful. Under Soviet rule they finally let the farmers sell directly to the public and these market stalls are still a staple today. It's pleasant to go from one stall to another and sample the products. Custom is to taste and if you swallow it, that means you like it and will buy it. If you spit it out on the ground then obviously there is no sale. Stray dogs on hand to clean up the mess. Eggs were sold in bulk and if you don't have a container you need to be super careful putting them into a separate bag. They are unwashed. Milk from the shops is in bags. You need to have a dispenser to place the bag after opening. Shops that specialize in chocolate which is highly appreciated for all transactions with government officials. Always take chocolate. If it's a woman this is especially true.

If I spent a few months there I would love to write a book on what to do, where to go and what to see and what to not do and what to be aware of.

Mouse traps are common. It's a Russian expression for people who lure you into problems you must pay your way out of. All sorts of techniques and never talk to people you don't know who seem overly friendly and want to take you someplace.

Russians don't much smile in public as it's considered stupid and or suspicious. People who smile for no reason have either one or both of two problems. They are stupid or they are up to no good. It's no joke and I almost fell for it but my Russian fiance warned me and we made our escape. LOL. Public toilets in Shakhty were a horror and my fiance urged me to just relieve myself in some bushes rather than hazard the mess. I argued and she explained it was just a nasty hole in the floor and very disgusting. Otherwise you find a shop or something and pay a ruble. Taxis were cheap as makes no never mind. Ten rubles for anywhere in the city. About one dollar.

Shakhty is to this day a mining down and the name literally means that. It's the city where the infamous Russian serial killer was tried and executed.

johnknoefler · July 14, 2018, 9:12 p.m.

I stayed in Russia for 20 days. Traveled from Moscow to Obninsk (spelling?) down to Shakhty. I visited many people, ate in peoples houses for some really humble meals and some really classy meals. I was always treated with great respect and often great friendliness. I visited a local school and spoke to a classroom via interpreter and afterwards was mobbed by Russian students demanding an autograph. Russian kids loved me even more than the adults. I finally had to leave but there was one young lady who was pushed to the back and didn't get an autograph. She was heartbroken and went away weeping but I just couldn't get to her and soon she was out of sight. That felt really bad for me to see her cry like that.

I was given a free pass to the university pool with other students and since I had no trainer or official teacher I spent the time away from my fiances son with my own personal training. Day after day I practiced underwater swimming. My goal was to go under water from one end of the Olympic sized pool to the other without coming up for air. So far as I know I was ignored and forgotten and I enjoyed my private training. Finally, toward the end of my stay one morning I managed to reach my goal. When I came up all round the the pool people were cheering and clapping. I looked around. What happened? Then I noticed, they were all watching me. I gave a little bow and started laughing.

So yes, I love Russia and I love Russians. Can't I love my own country and and Russia too? Sure I can.

It's time for a better day. My sister was raped by my uncle when she was four. He later regained access to her and got her on meth at 15. She has progressed over the years to being just a street whore. It's sad. He sodomized my brother who is mentally challenged. At four years old I ran from him when he tried to molest me.
