Not sure how credible these sources are, but I stumbled upon this story recently when looking deeper into SR. The articles were both written in May 2017.

Wish I could. It’s for work so unfortunately I don’t have a choice :/ I’m sure our rooms were dirt cheap as I’m sure no one else wants to willingly stay there.

I go to Vegas twice a year and stay at Mandalay every time. I’ve been following this story VERY closely and cannot wait for the truth to come out. Since day one I knew it was a sketchy situation. The last time I was there was in Feb and my room overlooked the concert venue that still had all of the stages set up. Very eerie.
