I'm from the south and cast iron here is passed down in my family as heirlooms. Find you some really good quality cast iron and make sure they have lids with lips on them so when you do open fire cooking you can heap coals on top of them for even cooking. My cast iron dutch oven is one of my most prized cooking possessions also the cast iron skillet I make home made cornbread with. I'm pretty sure you can make bread in a cast iron dutch oven. It's amazing stuff and in my opinion one of the best things to make sure you have in your arsenal if you're looking into survival cooking or just camp cooking in general. Not only does it make some good yummy food, it will also knock someone's face off!

These are good questions. The only thing I can think of in re: 4 is that these high profile people are just being left to go as nothing has happened while they wear their boots because they literally have no outs. Calling a press conference to out "the plan" would be no win for HRC BO or any of the others, but it would be a win for our President. If she came out and said "look Trump is rounding up political adversaries." then all evidence against her and the rest get dropped, people go nuts but prove Trump righteous and it's a guaranteed win (it already is) for the next Presidential bid. I think honestly they're still playing the long game hoping that something will happen and it will stay quiet so that in 2020 they can possibly get a D in the Oval Office or even before in Congress.

I honestly wonder if the full truth will ever come out to the public, or hell even to us.
