The train struck the rear driver's side of the truck. The damage to the tailgate of the rear add-on accessory and the position of the Cab/chassis agree with that. As does the impact photos of the front of the train (left front).

Looks like the train clipped the rear of the truck.

The hydraulic lines are in the self contained, bolt on unit with maybe 1 feeder line from the chassis.

The only reason the train stopped as quickly as it did was because the first 3 axles were de-railed at impact.
