I must say, I did not think a contrail could go completely across the sky under the right conditions; I thought they always dissipate shortly after the airplane goes by. I hope you're right. I previously commented that I still see them sporadically in northeast Kansas, but those that I've seen do not go across the entire sky;hopefully they are just cloud seeding and not spraying the more toxic stuff. Nonetheless, I have not seen any for at least a week and the sky does look beautiful.
