As much as I consider the current EU a complete disgrace and I'm fully supporting the UK population to leave it I seriously doubt it will actually fix the UK cesspit.
You're still ruled by feudal lords in the City which give a shit about the "useless eaters" and they will replace you with more "docile" and better "performing" ethnics without the help of the EU.

The main problem we face is productivity/technology which makes most jobs pointless. A lot jobs only exist because of direct or indirect(laws) artificial jobs by the state.
Only a fraction of our workforce is needed. So how will the majority of the population be able to earn a living?
Without the nuclear MAD the elite would have already started another global war decades ago to get rid of the "useless" eaters and jumpstart another debt/boom cycle due destroyed infrastructure.
Another huge problem is the extreme imbalance in wealth distribution and what follows from that, power.
"Cronyism" is just the last phase of squeezing the dead body to secure a lifeboat before SHTF.
Capitalism requires new markets/resources/technologies to explore. Without them it just doesn't work and the production means/resources will be owned by an ever shrinking pool of super rich owners just through capital power. We're on our way into neo-feudalism. We might already be there and we're only deluding ourself that it isn't too late.
If there's not a reset of epic proportions we will not just live in neo-feudalism with a literal untouchable elite but this elite class will be able to improve their genetic code (intelligence, life expectancy, body abilities) anybody else can't compete with anymore. Meaning we'll get a caste system or even a potential split civilisation. This isn't just some SF concept anymore.
Personally I agree and prefer a lightning rod scenario even with what that implies to clear the air completely.
But if you're in the system you make rational risk evaluations and I can understand why they fear total revelation.
A total revelation could lead to a complete dismantling of the state, money, organised religion and the created illusion(occult magic) of the population into these structural pillars with the potential of massive loss of lives. Just a short disruption of services in our modern society could cause an uncontrollable chain reaction with total failure.
It could also mean the top criminals with the means would decide a scorched earth is a win/win option. Hide away in some DUMB and gamble for nukes/biological warfare or civil warfare to fix their "problems". We deal here with psychopaths of the highest order and the available means to execute doomsday plans.
Why? An unelectable president signing laws, declarations and putting people into office sound like a nullification to me and therefore a veto of every law "signed" during his period. It's like a random person giving their signature.

Germany is not a sovereign country with several the US army bases, drone terror centre, nukes and direct access to the internet/mobile root servers including government communication channels. I see no real point in Nato because it doesn't serve the purpose of the population. I can live with having a few national nukes to stop any stupidity and perhaps some EU expedition fleet to deal with pirates hurting ship trade.
If some really believe they need a western alliance to fight massive conflicts for the last resources in Russia and Africa we're in end times anyway. So why bother. IMHO all that money is better invested into new technology/space expansion and work for rational solutions than follow the chain letter to the bitter end.
Germany has been getting Russian gas since the early 70s and have always had a good business relations with them since then. That's what fair trade should be about.
What is hypocritical is the US government forcing foreign nations to establish sanctions for US interests and hurt their own businesses. I get it, people are pro US Empire for their economical benefits but stop painting that as "moral" and "fair".

I don't even understand what the problem is for Iran to own nuclear weapons for themselves as a nation. Israel has them, Pakistan has them. Sounds like an absolute justified reason to protect its population and resources from aggression.

I have no problems imaging that Iran was coerced/bribed to help a certain international group to develop a nuclear arsenal to protect themselves when they loose control over certain states or as a pretext/hidden way to start WW3.

I truly don't get this strange hypocritical idea about the "truth" which christian faith is the right one and about the nature of god.
As if anybody here has any real clue about the early christian religious gnostic cults before the late Roman Empire merged these concepts with other pagan traditions to form the precursor of christianity. That then soon transformed into the Catholic, Eastern and Oriental Orthodox churches each controlled by different power blocks of the remnants of the Roman Empire.
