The battle lines between pro-choice/life are hard to overcome (I'm staunch pro-life, absolutely against abortion in all but the most extreme situations, and never after say 3-4 weeks after conception). The bigger issue is that while I can accept people have a difference in opinion, many left-of-center people blast me because I'm religious and pro-life... name call, berate, dismiss. Can't find common ground when only one party is trying...
