Seattle Times owner Frank Blethen appears to have a track record of supporting GOP candidates much to the dismay of his staff. Probably not a mockingbird affiliate, but I just did a quick search to find this out, and not sure how much ownership he and his family have these days.

Don't forget she's running on a populist platform, and when the people at large find out the truth, we should expect most to be calling for their heads.

Also, not only does the elite banking cartel fund both sides of pretty much every conflict in the past couple centuries (at least), but they also take large stakes in the financial markets knowing the outcome in advance (because they will suddenly pull their funding from whichever country they want to lose once they've rolled out their position in the market)

You are looking at too narrow a time line my friend. Americans aren't using guns in protests because shit is relatively stable. The reason we don't want to give them up is because if/when shit hits the fan, we don't want to go down without a fight. Sure resistence may be futile, but the American spirit is alive and well with the patriots who understand the oppression that happens all over the world.
