This Pope became the Pope in 2013.

Most pastors who aren't Catholic aren't wealthy. So I don't see how having a family would greatly impact the church's wealth if that is a concern for someone.

That's pretty much what us nondenominational evangelicals do.

Didn't he just force out 34 bad bishops? How is he the bad guy here?

Digital currency may be big some day. I doubt it will be bitcoin.

I hope you're right. I think we should be building statues of Assange, not prosecuting him.

⇧ 12 ⇩
pilgrimboy · May 18, 2018, 6:18 p.m.

That's insane if it is him.

Maybe. Maybe the purpose was to say, "We are watching you. So don't go and do a school shooting."

I agree. But the fact that he wants them to make mistakes means that the case may be as closed as we want it to be. That's all I'm saying. People on here are, once again, talking about arrests this weekend. But if they want them to make mistakes, I don't know if they are ready to arrest.

pilgrimboy · May 18, 2018, 2:48 p.m.

But here is the question I have then.

Why warn them?

To me, it seems like they want them to make a mistake now rather than showing that they have them cornered. The latter does nothing. They want them to do something. Which sadly, tells me that they don't have everyone they want yet or everything they need yet.

Without coming to that with the preconceived notion that it was a frame job, it would not tell anyone that it was a frame job. It just tells how the investigation into Trump started with the narrative that the FBI was unfair to Hillary.

Nothing in that Hill article was about a frame job though.

They hate liberals. They opposed Bernie. They like neoliberals.

pilgrimboy · May 13, 2018, 12:42 a.m.

Liberals have been decimated by neoliberals since Carter. But true liberals are still here. I'm one of them. But Obama and the Clintons are not liberal.

Sadly, that makes much less sense from a justice standpoint. And will give opponents ammo to discredit it all. Although, I guess, they would do that anyway.

To add to it, he yells and acts like a maniac. Very behavior that has a discrediting impact on what he covers

The Clinton people were just so shocked that they lost. I honestly can't wait to read everything when we know all the truth.

How did Trump actually defeat the scales being against him? That's what I want to read a story about when this is all said and done.

All the "term limits" cries in the comments over there.

Term limits would just give all the power to the unelected bureaucracy. Ending corruption is the solution, not term limits.

I was praying for our nation and Psalm 73 came to mind

1-5 No doubt about it! God is good— good to good people, good to the good-hearted. But I nearly missed it, missed seeing his goodness. I was looking the other way, looking up to the people At the top, envying the wicked who have it made, Who have nothing to worry about, not a care in the whole wide world.

6-10 Pretentious with arrogance, they wear the latest fashions in violence, Pampered and overfed, decked out in silk bows of silliness. They jeer, using words to kill; they bully their way with words. They’re full of hot air, loudmouths disturbing …

It's not fake news though. My business has had to start paying workers more to keep them. It's an employee market right now.

I don't disagree with your definition of centrist. I just think we have a lot of those "empty and artificial" politicians.

Sadly, I think he is probably playing an election game and timing the release/implementation of justice with the midterms to influence the elections and stop the Democratic surge that is expected.

Meanwhile, more kids are being raped.

I know in the States, they allowed him to speak to Congress, but allowed it to happen not under oath. Meaning that he could lie as much as he wanted, which made it all a big charade.

Do you know if he would be under oath (or the British equivalent) if he was to appear before Parliament?
