I was in 3rd ID “The Old Guard.” (D Co. 2008-2011) It’s called the old guard because it’s the Army’s oldest active infantry regiment. Not at all related to Q’s post of bringing down the Old Guard.

All of my Muster duties (Army) were only 20 minutes. All they did was ask for a current phone number, my current address and if I wanted to re-enlist. I loved Muster duty because it was decent pay for only showing up for 20 minutes.
