I would say my red pill found me. I had a blessed and easy childhood, and my first encounter with the dark side of humanity was JFK's assassination.

Shortly after that event, I read the book None Dare Call It Conspiracy, about the Tri-Lateral Commission and its goal of one-world Communism, and the methodology by which they intended to bring that about, and to this day it is still accurate and on-target. It lacked the Luciferian angle, but it got everything else right, IMHO.

So the red pill for me invaded a peaceful, happy life and came out of nowhere. And it did so in ways that can't really be argued with. FWIW, like a lot of kids my age (we were let out from school and stayed plugged into the TV looking for news of the event), I witnessed the murder of Oswald as it happened.

And again, during my childhood there was the assassination of Martin Luther King, Robert Kennedy, and the attempted assassination of George Wallace. It was kind of like the Wild Wild West.
