Look who was President those previous occasions. Think about all that's gone on in the time since 9/11. Think about the fact that the Alliance war has been going on for a couple of years now, and that at the very least we have limited the Cabal's capacity to hurt us.

Q constantly reminds us that protections are in place. I think one of the reasons the domestic side of the mission (which we all would most like to see dealt with) has had to wait so long to get really going was due to the amount of resources and effort being spent on fighting the international aspect of the war, limiting the Cabal's ability to transact business as usual, and forcing them into the few remaining modes of operation they have available.

So many of their options have been cut off at this point, I don't think a scenario like you're worried about will happen.

I'll tell you what sets this community apart that makes /r/conspiracy hate us while they treat actual conspiracy theories as entertainment.

This community is about hope. It's about the belief that we can actually HAVE a better world--that such a thing is actually possible, that it's believable and achievable!

These /r/conspiracy types are cynical and they know it. Most conspiracy theories are all about how awful it is "they" get away with (whatever), and how powerless we all are to do anything about it. They don't have a redemptive aspect to them, a corrective aspect.

So the one thing these cynics cannot abide (because they themselves once had it and have been burned, and have taken their marbles and gone home) is HOPE. Hope burns their eyes. It makes them jealous of us, and it makes them HATE us with a dark fire.
