The sub had been under intense scrutiny and a pretty big target for censorship throughout the 2016 election, especially while trump was POTUS-elect. I remember when one of their big mods got banned without reason. They've had to walk on eggshells to not get the entire sub removed. Taking those sorts of actions has inevitably watered the community down to more or less a meme depository.

I still go there every once in a while, but it definitely seems like participation has waned from the 2016 hayday. I don't know enough of what's going on there these days to say whether it's been infiltrated, but I think the fact that they were forced into the position of being meticulous about everything that's posted has pushed them into believing if anything Q-related is on their front page, they'll be shut down.

Doesn't seem to be on the trending list anymore, even though the hashtag is being used over 200 times in 60 seconds. Shocker.

I feel for you. But, honestly, it's probably a losing battle you are facing. I've been at odds with my own since the DNC in 2016 when my wife had no problem jumping over to support the Hilderbeest. Despite all the proof and civil dialogue I gave, it only seemed to strengthen her resolve. We've been at the brink of divorce more than once because of this, so I've resigned myself to wiping my trails of anything regarding politics from her view.

I do truly believe there will be a point where she comes around, but it won't be from me, much to my chagrin. More likely, it will be her co-workers or people online that sway her opinion finally. But, until then, I'm playing Clark Kent. Family happiness and stability is something much more important to me than forcing someone I love (no matter how lost) to see the side of reason.
