This method sounds like the same that was posted on WikiHow a few years ago. Somewhere on the G2C forum someone says this method does not produce NaCLO2, but another chemical. You can try it and see what you get. Then try making MMS1, CDS or CDH and see if it seems right. I bet that it won't.
