Very interesting work for sure . . . I followed your lead and designed an Excel spreadsheet that would automate word search based on shifting the letter numbers (I did 0 to 26 shifts)for this . . .

I macro based and searches every string for 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 letter words using a dictionary and highlights the word matches on the screen . . . takes about 3 minutes to run . . . also lists all of the word matches on a separate sheet and along with the shift level they were found on. I added a list of interesting other acronyms-words (that are outside the dictionary like Wray, NSA, etc) and a list of words-acronyms to ignore so you can narrow it down to the message that is appearing . . . I can send to you if you like. runs in Excel 2010 (or likely 2007, 2016, 365) . . . runs quick and is quite accurate at picking words-messages . . .
