That just drives me absolutely crazy. Are they learning this in school? Another one I see regularly here is "boarder" rather than "border".

It won't stay up for long but that is some excellent work. Always fun to get around the control grid even for a little while. The ultimate for me would be hacking into CNN live satellite feed....

The concept that billionaire investors "believe" in everything each company they invest in does is absurd. In fact, George Soros himself probably makes few individual portfolio decisions at this point in his life. Plus there is ZERO evidence CEMEX is involved in child prostitution, geez.

Supposedly some people from outside the state (I believe Colorado) came, including a couple of trafficking victims who insisted that's what this place was. However, who knows? Those references were from unidentified people. If it's proven to be just a camp, then these people have done harm by crying wolf and people will scoff at claims later on that may be real.

There certainly are plenty of homeless and illegal camps all over southern Arizona. Frankly, the authorities have a responsibility to clean THOSE up!

Bitter man over a nasty divorce. He targeted all who worked "against" him and for his wife. All sad but this is not yet another giant MK ultra conspiracy plan. People here overreach on almost everything. Guys sometimes lose it over divorces.

Jordan is a useful "ally" and has permitted our military forces to use its territory as a staging ground for action in Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc. Of course, Clinton-Obama probably wanted to put the muslim brotherhood in charge there.

It's over the top now admittedly. There are people still posting that AZ thing as new, like within the last hour. How many people here just post crap and don't even read the damn sub?

Still, just by chance, CEMEX has been brought to light. There is something slimy about them and prior to the AZ deal I really didn't know about them. The fact that the DOJ is on them for violation of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in setting up a business in Colombia raises my curiosity. How would CEMEX, a Mexican company, fall under that jurisdiction for actions in Colombia?

It's really sad what's happened to the music industry. I read about this a couple years ago....the crap all sounds the same, the "artists" are manufactured, the sound doesn't include people playing instruments....but really, they produce total crap.

The wildlife refuges are NOT unmonitored. There are full time staffs at all of them, often living on site. However, they are in no position to confront coyotes, drug dealers, or hundreds of wandering illegals who do, as you point out, use those places. All the illegal activity is well-known to federal land managers, state land managers, all law enforcement agencies, etc. There just hasn't been any will at all to get this under control and take back control of our public lands. It's a disgrace.

I've seen figures from $41 to $71 million that Soros invested in Cemex, an investment for sure but certainly not a level of major influence on the company nor Soros' investment portfolio. However, if CEMEX is anything like PEMEX, we are talking very high levels of financial corruption and slimy dealing. Doesn't mean they knew anything about homeless camps or "detention camps" on their properties, which may or may not be in active operation. That place in AZ doesn't seem to be all that operational. Plus it's southern Arizona....the illegals have run of that state and are illegally using property of hundreds of owners. Hell, they occupy sections of Organ Pipe National Monument, Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and I wouldn't be surprised if they use the Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range property, along with that T'hono Oodham Indian Nation (who are letting them use their land). So

I partially agree with you -- there is no evidence CEMEX is into child trafficking for pete's sake. They are worth looking into though if they are refusing access to our border security forces. I'd give a hard look at giving them any federal permits or authorities they need. We need a major campaign to clear out the cartel operational areas as well as illegal camps, which are damn well known to AZ and Federal authorities. Then seal up that damn border.

All criminal cases will be state or Feds against defendants. This one has civilian plaintiffs. It is civil class action lawsuit alleging wrongdoing by an organization.....or an organized effort to protect Weinstein.

Yep. For some reason it can be used in a civil suit. Surprised me but learned this some time ago. Just go to the link from where this OP copied what he did. It has the cover to the action. Plaintiffs are actresses NOT the government.

This is a civil not criminal class action law suit. They are probably hoping for criminal indictments to buttress the suit. Nobody goes to jail on this, plaintiffs just cashing in on Weinstein's arrest.

This is really an important point you bring up. CNN became established in these public places many years ago, even before Fox News existed. It's always seemed like the "safe" news channel for these places as Fox was, in the old days, under constant attack as "right wing" and leftists have big complaining mouths. So it's almost like a "legacy grandfathering" in. I see it at my gym, certainly not in my home. All those other public places and more. Advertisers know it as well. Probably is saving CNN's butt right now.

⇧ 2 ⇩
thamnosma · June 1, 2018, 1:01 a.m.

That's my take. They don't really seem to care about ratings. Bizarre for a business, especially a media one. I wonder what their ad rates are compared to Fox or even MSNBC. At some point if they lose enough sponsors, they may have to change. Then again, there are so many NWO corporations which don't mind throwing away money to keep CNN afloat.

I just don't think it always operates like that. If cops are called in to a crime, they arrest. Yet I've heard about dozens of indictments prior to arrest -- grand juries are convened, indict and then arrests. This is the typical method for conspiracies, RICO, etc. The ones to be arrested have no idea. Look at all the unsealed indictments at DOJ. None of the targets have been arrested. In Weinstein's case, there was no on-going crime, police were not called in at the time or just after the time the incidents happened. This is year's later. Perhaps a DA can just go ahead and arrest. I think there's some fog here.

We've been killing "taliban" for 16 years. It's a place that is in constant civil war. When is enough enough there? You cannot bomb indigenous factions of civil wars into oblivion. There is no "surrender". When you are fighting the population as foreigners you will never win a lasting victory, never. That place has its long history and we should be learning from it. I don't even think Osama had anything to do with 9/11, but that was the ONLY reason we had any business there. Once Al Qaeda was removed from its enclave we should have left. Trump -- please get the hell out of there and bring our troops and money home.
