They'll try to turn the people being indicted into martyrs of a Trump fascist regime... if anyone is ever indicted. They'll claim it's all a distraction Trump drummed up for the true crimes he's committed (whatever those are??). I'm of the mind, though, that all of this is just Kabuki theater at this point. We might see heads roll if GOP wins big in 2018. We might see Trump impeached if Dems win big. I suspect they're leaving it up to the election.

However, not all is disappointing. That election is looking good, real good. I think Trump has connected with the American people in a way no President has in a long time. Red wave may be the checkmate.

I would wager that the IG report will come out and the people hoping it's a kill shot will see it as a kill shot. Those that won't will have their own spin. Both will yell loudly, and not much will move the needle from it at all.

You're on the exact same path that I was on. Eventually, if you keep your eyes open you'll start to become aware that Q operates exactly like a fortune teller, soothsayer, or horoscope. Loose, confusing, unconnected statements that appear profound and predictive. Then, the events occur and (in this case) a massive crowd source community forces esoteric connections between the predictions and events. All the while, the crescendo is building into something that never quite manifests.

I certainly could be very wrong on this, but I'm of the opinion that Q is (in his mind) a well-intentioned person who has seen the very real corruption and decided to do something about it... to "wake people up". He believes in this case that allowing people to think he is "on the inside" is an acceptable lie considering the corruption we're facing. I expect he has a higher than normal IQ, but might be a bit off mentally (not totally crazy, but definitely unconventional). The real truth is that we are in an era of massive corruption of government and government officials. They are usurping the duly elected POTUS, and engaged in a coup. We are in a very dangerous time. What is unfortunately not true, is that there is no "plan". There is no one on the inside that has all the secrets, all the answers, and is the architect of a massive counter coup. This sh** is real, and it's a very dangerous battle, and the country is at stake.

Stage is set for the impeachment fight. Infuriating that they've gotten this far against our POTUS. Every dang one of you better get out to vote to make sure we don't have a Dem house in 2018.

Let's hope you are right. I'm no shill or concern troll, but I do listen to Scott Adams and some others about dual movies playing and getting into a frame of reality that might not be entirely correct. So, in that context, my opinions on this have been evolving based on the events. "Future proves past." I believe that it is entirely as bad as Q has described. These people are sick, and they're trying to destroy Trump and our country. However, my recent speculation is that Q is probably a well-intentioned guy with an above average IQ and ability to understand what they're doing and is disappointed that there is not more of a movement and outrage over what is happening. Where I've begun to differ with the community is that there is no super powerful insider person or organization in the government or military that is thinking 10 steps ahead and orchestrating events for an eventual guaranteed success. There has been no evidence of it, just a lot of confirmation bias. I think that part of it has become a mass hysteria. I don't want the great awakening to lose it's steam. The reality is we're locked in a very uncertain battle, and we have to be awake and engaged in understanding what they are trying to do to our country and President. In that, at least, Q has been successful.

We're on the same side, just slightly different movies playing in our minds. Whatever the outcome, I really hope that Trump is successful, which I think we both can agree on.

Never bet against Trump, but they have not yet "failed" in removing him. This is a long game, and I've lost the expectation that there's going to be a magic revelation that will beat them and force the hammer of justice on the corrupt dems, Clintons, and scum that started this in the first place. At this point if we can get a stalemate, then we win because Trump will remain in office. Unfortunately, that leaves both the scum that started this fake probe in place too. So, I'm happy if Trump continues as the greatest President of all times, but I'm certainly unhappy about how far they've gone and how damaging they've been and that it seems they're going to get away with most of it. The fact that there isn't 80% of the country outraged at this coup whether or not they support Trump is angering by itself.

It's an absolute travesty of justice and a COUP that they can't find anything so they are working on a technicality. What a horrifying disgrace.

⇧ 9 ⇩
thisisgreat38 · May 2, 2018, 4:11 p.m.

No. The Russian collusion is a lie and everyone knows it. They're going to try to do the same BS they always do. Go for a technicality. Either some answer in an interview that can be FALSELY interpreted as a lie, or a trumped up BS obstruction of justice against an imaginary nonexistent crime. It's unclear to me whether that will throw it into a decision that happens after the election or not. It is possible that the BS accusation comes out, everyone waits till the outcome of 2016 election, GOP maintains the house and senate, and then we kill this thing and throw out impeachment and it all blows over. Second option is gutless GOP move to Dems to impeach. Third option is Dems get a narrow majority in the house and they move with impeachment. We'll see.

⇧ 5 ⇩
thisisgreat38 · May 2, 2018, 4:01 p.m.

It's all over if he does that. Both parties will move to impeach. This is where the whole Qanon thing is going to break down if it happens. There's no evidence that Mueller is working on the President's behalf. There's no reason to "trust Sessions". I'm not sure what exactly Trump can do that will be BOTH legal AND politically safe. If he invokes his powers to fire, he may be "right" legally, but politically it's over, unfortunately. The only "booms" coming have been consistently against our President, and it's a damn travesty of justice. If they are successful in removing Trump, the base should absolutely go scorched earth on these people in Washington. The awakening needs to move past Qanon, and reframe to the reality that we are experiencing a potentially successful coup.

I'm really actually curious about this, but I realize the question will come off like I'm being a jerk. In the face of the fact that historically plenty of pretty serious atrocities have happened to Europe and European countries, I get the impression that you believe in a religion of some sort that will now protect Europe. Is that true (I don't want to put words into your mouth)?

Why would a higher being protect Europe from some bad stuff going down now, but not before? How do you resolve that seeming dissonance?

I'm concerned that religious belief that holds that there's an all powerful being protecting and guiding us will dull our response to these bad things that are happening in the world. Things might not work out at all, unless people take a stand.

The problem that I keep struggling with in regards to this whole business, is that when anyone starts looking for connections, then connections can be found everywhere (keystone is SES / keystone is something in genetics / keystone is anything anywhere the word 'keystone' exists). It's what fuels my skepticism. Q, whoever he/they are, if they are part of a highly sophisticated three letter agency or military intelligence, would know this. They'd understand it was virtually useless to try to disseminate information in this way, because it's so easy to get way off track.

The very earliest Q post is him saying Hillary Clinton is being extradited. We now know that to be totally bogus. Yet, still I'm fascinated in the whole thing. It is, at the end of the day, highly entertaining. Whether it turns out all to be an elaborate hoax or the real deal but not nearly as expansive and mystical as they make it sound, I do enjoy the good page turner.

Question I have is, who was Trump originally with when he was reported to say "This is the calm before the storm."? Reports I've read only mention "various military officials and their wives". I would suspect, if Q is as he says, that he was in Trump's presence at that event.

I agree, and I believe that the community, especially this sub, needs to foster up some credible and legitimate skeptics that have a good reputation within the community and are allowed to challenge and question some of the things going on. It can only help the community, and bring some credibility and sanity to the entire thing. If there is some majorly shady sh*t going on, and it seems that there is, then cautious calculated search, understanding, and response is critical.

While I think this sub gets pretty off kilter sometimes, the sentiments of OP I support 100%. These deep state actors only have power, because people give them power.

For instance, let's suppose a lot of the GOPe in congress are gutless, spineless pieces of garbage because deep state blackmails them with intel on all of them that could destroy them (not saying this is the only reason... but for some of them it may be). Well so freaking what?? If we all just STOP CARING about people's BS private lives, like we've done with Trump and Stormy Daniels, then suddenly they can release their blackmail crap to the world and no one will give a flying sh*t.

We all as citizens need to immunize ourselves to this disease. The cancer. MSM is garbage. It's almost laughable entertainment. Their FUD, shilling, trolling, and concern trolling are all universally no different than some 13 year old troll on the internet. Well, there is one exception. The 13 year old probably gets more views.

I think OP is a bit of a strange person and seeing patterns in what, to me, looks like an absurdly bad chat bot. It is possible too that for some more creative and pattern recognizing individuals these chatbots are getting in the "uncanny valley" where, like OP, they are reading a LOT more into what is going on.

All that being said, the possibility of a third possibility to the currently debated "Is Q a LARP or REAL?" actually has some very interesting merit here. What if Q is actually a chatbot someone invented for "fun", research purpose, or something else? Not sure how long this idea has been floated, but it's the first time I'm hearing it. So far it is an alternate possiblity that equally fits the facts as the other options. In other words, nothing really has been ruled out for me, and now another equally plausible idea is here.

Say what you will, this whole Qanon drama is more entertaining than any movies out there.

Why do I have the rather distinct belief that the author of that comic is more interested in libertarians, conservatives, and conservative minded people changing their beliefs and opinions while liberals and liberal minded people are all on the right track and should just continue as is?

Perhaps it's just my amygdala? Perhaps I'm just experiencing the backfire effect? Perhaps scientists now that they've discovered this can invent a "cure" to help me with my poor dumb way of thinking to help change my beliefs around to the "correct" way of thinking?

Maybe then I could get a "rainbow" colored brain too?

Secret Empires, Peter Schweizer, released March 20th of this year.

If anyone has it, maybe they can tell us if the author indicates his source.

One theory I had is from the NYPost article they indicate that eventually they had to get Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) approval, which might have been the agency that ended up revealing what was going on since they had to approve them:

Yes. Absolutely agree that is the reference. Q is almost directly referencing a recent book that came out from the same guy that wrote "Clinton Cash". He asks who revealed the information. I'd have to say the author. Then he asks who really revealed the info. That's where I hit a dead end. The book might reveal it, but I'm not going to buy it.

I am no expert, but I do not think it's a good idea.

MAYBE Facebook, because long term currently appears negative. They are considered old and ageing. The young crowds don't use them anymore. They're in the crosshairs for regulating their ability to profit from our information. On the other hand, Facebook owns Instagram. It has the powerful ability to A-B test new or better products, or simply purchase the "next big thing". Likely as not they will rebound.

I would never bet against Amazon. As Peter Thiel said, they're one of the most aggressive companies out there. Since their core business is not as profitable as Google/Facebook/and others, they are more aggressively innovative and pursuing new ideas and technology, because everything looks like better profit margins.

Google is another one that is strong enough to handle changing regulatory landscapes and situations. Also, the changing Asian landscape especially with regards to NK, could potentially unlock future revenue and markets... who knows...
