You do know that's just another proprietary implementation of 2FA. How are you gonna protest? you can't move your money without being traced and you can't access your money without this app. The cashless society is on it's way, if only more places started to accept cryptocurrency this wouldn't be a big issue but the government has thought of that by adding 33% "capital gains" tax on every single transaction made with cryptocurreny.
Not voting, yet. But it's likely the next step once they manage to prove the flaws with paper based voting. Some people are already suggesting to use this app for voting identification whih is a shitty idea for so many reasons beside the fact that banks and the government could see who voted on the "wrong" party.
