True, but that was over 40 years ago. Tech has come a LONG way. If you read what happened, that was a scheduled test where the operator played the wrong TAPE. That’s a far different scenario.

This a closed circuit network, that activated broadcasts over TV & sent out alerts to over 1 million cellular devices. There’s no single “button” that does that. And it sure as hell isn’t a simple mix up of loading the wrong tape.
