Wait, the EU did that? I thought Australia pushed for this. Because Germany complained about refunds since basically steam was made, and Valve always weaseled their way out of it. This is were the subscription thing comes from. Valve's argument against refunds was that they are not selling you games.

Yeah I don't see how people could be against this. I used the refund option myself a few times and it was very badly needed back in the days. Because some devs would just sell broken games.
