My librul friend told me he misses "the pre-garegate internet" the other day. He's refused to talk about it since 2014 and wouldn't elaborate on it now, but I just thought you should all know that we're responsible for everything bad that happens online.

Sorry for the blogpost.

Originally the argument was that since your experiences, background, common sense, etc. shapes your interpretation of the truth, you will always be subjective in one way or another. To get around this you should take a step back and analyze your own role in the interpretation and why you see and interpret the subject matter as you do.

However it's an incredibly flawed theory and has been bastardized to the point where "everyone is right because subjectivity is inescapable" and "You're X so thus you can't speak about Y" are the dominant trains of thought.

Mistakes were made, but it was a stepping stone to a masters in third world sustainable development, because to help a people overhaul their agriculture, forestry and stupid policies you need to know what goes on collectively inside their heads.

Unlike the whining socjus fucks I'm actually trying to help change the world.

>I just couldn't see a career in it

And you're correct in that. It's worthless unless you use it as a compliment for something else. Pure anthropology degrees only get you HR, advertising or academia jobs.
