Think you ought to have given Aria a go before Dawn, but that's just me.
Could always just considering picking up a cheap PS2 somewhere (a fat if you want backup loading from an HDD). Both PS2 Castlevanias were pretty damn cheap last I checked, and according to a compatibility list, should be playable loaded via OPL as well.
