It's still broken. Luck raises drop rates very little. 39 luck raises the zombie soul drop rate by 2.94 percent. 99 luck raises it by 2.97 percent. The developers goofed the formula, so that raising luck barely matters for soul drops.

Don't forget the mob that lynched Lisa on a fucking cross, as we see in Alucard's nightmare. And, according to III's prologue, the Belmonts were pretty much outcast by everyone, until Dracula showed up and the Church didn't have anyone else to turn to.

>Saint fucking Germain is in the game and actively fucks with Hector's quest of bloody revenge?

That's because Hector was supposed to give into his anger, kill Isaac, and become a host for Dracula, according to the timeline, which is why Germain tries to stop him. When he beats Germain, Germain realizes that things seem to be going differently this time, so he stops hindering Hector. Not to mention, Christianity, as a whole, is generally against seeking revenge, especially violently. You know, the whole forgiveness thing?

Rebirth is great, though very different from the original Adventure. Its biggest issue is that it's got IV's physics enabled by default, but you can switch it to more classic physics. And, yes, it's only on wiiware, like the rest of the Rebirth series. Better fire up Dolphin or one of its forks.
