>Finally get Morag
>Start popping blades
>Get two rare tanks in a row
Fun stops here. No enemy is ever killing her.

JUST
>I feel like people who say its slow either only played it for like an hour or already decided the game is slow
I'm 80 hours in, chapter 4. The game is slow as molasses man. That doesn't necessarily imply that's a bad thing though, because all those hours flew by me because of how fun it is.
But you gotta take a step back and look at it objectively. 80 hours and not even halfway through the games content. That's some slow shit.
>When I hear "slow" I think of the combat being slow
Yeah, the meaning of "slow" was pretty vague here. I assumed based on the initial dudes usage he meant in terms of overall progression. In which case the game is mega ultra giga galactic slow. However, I'd even argue that the combat is slow. Enemies can take quite some time to beat up, as you establish blade/driver combos to do the any substantive damage on them. Not that that slowness is bad.
I thought I was the only one who all but refused to fast travel. Open world games are meant to be wandered, though this game I didn't even bother because of the million fetch quests.
>Just a bit weird when I'm fighting bosses who barely dent me, and in the cutscene the team go "Oh god, they're destroying us, we can't beat them" before they're 'saved'
This is so fucking true. I'm only just behind you, both in terms of story progression and overleveling. The only boss that has given me even a sliver of challenge was the last Zeke battle, before heading to the Praetorium. His rage mode was pretty tough.
Everything about your assessment of the combat is largely correct, but I don't think it's 'slow' in terms of opening up. The game allows you do launches, knockbacks, blade combos, etc etc, from the moment you get into the game (albeit there's no tutorial.) The problem lies more in the fact that you simply don't have blades capable of it. I was lucky on that regard, the few rares I had popped early had great synergy. I've been slamming the shit out of everything since around chapter 3. I think the only mechanic you outright don't have access to until you unlock it is the + button shit.
Oh, well, that is true of certain weapon types. I have Gorg, a greataxe, and I want to kill myself every time I have to use his auto-attacks. Just advise him to main Rex with Homura/Hikari and move-cancel her first attack.
>Poppy remodel heart-to-heart
>Clearly talking about bikini armor in nip
>"Bun-bun costume" aka onesies in english
Yeah, fuck you NoE.
>Spend two goddamn hours recrawling all over Uruya for the Raquya Aquagardens
>it was right across the broken bridge the entire time
>the broken bridge I assumed you would inevitably fix via sidequest or something and thus never bothered to attempt crossing
If this was for a shit blade I would be apocalyptic, but it's for Azami so all is becoming calm.
