At least given the great job they did with quests in this game I'm expecting some more good stuff with the DLC. Also new blades to farm and rage over (I'm just 3 blades away from completing it, but farming is taking a toll on my sanity).

Most my rares came from commons when I first beat the main story. I almost always used boosters. 10 or so rares will carry you a long way.
And then never let's me review tutorials ever again. I'm sure I noticed it at that moment, but given how myself and a lot of people had trouble undersanding how blade combos work at all, needing some time to even grasp how to pull them off, I wouldn't be surprised if more people also hadn't been paying attention to seals at all.
I carried myself a long way without paying attention to them at all, only needing it for taking on hard post-story bosses. Still, it's not like I'm complaining that the game has depth.

Those are pretty much confirmed anon. Some interview with the devs stated the steps of including a blade into teh game, and having a side-quest and heart-to-hearts are essencial

If you max the affinity chart of a 4crown common blade and release it, it gives you an overdrive instead of boosters.
So technically you can have as many as you need. If you have the patience to farm them (they are a bit rare tbh)
