Infamous Second Son is a pretty generic open world game. The city is split into like 15 sections and in each one you have to get enough collectibles and do enough filler missions to unlock the stand-off and eventually capture that zone for yourself. It's fun if you like that kind of stuff, I was on board for a little bit and then I unlocked neon powers and was super disappointed that it's just smoke with fast running instead of an air dash. I thought you were going to unlock all new cool powers.
The worst part is the writing and character dialogue because it's all over the place and schizophrenic, probably because you can choose a good or evil path at any time. Stuff like your brother constantly flip flopping between like "hey mutant powers are pretty great since you can use them to save lives" and "you're a horrible freak of nature and everyone like you deserves to hang". Or there's the part where in a single mission after you meet neon girl you convince her to murder all anti-conduit activists on sight when before she was killing the drug dealers that ruined her life.
