Why do people keep doing this? The other guy is right. Just make a stable TF2 and leave it the fuck alone.
I'm not saying it's easy, I just don't get why every TF2 devolves into gimmick autism.
I'll take the bait just this once. This is an off weekend, which means the core /radcorp/ dudes and hosts are taking a break and whoever the fuck is willing can do what they want. Someone who didn't know what he was doing tried to host a game last night and he failed as expected, so the TF2V guys (who already have a server running 24/7 AFAIK) stepped up to fill in the space. Bitching about TF2V is beyond retarded because your options were not "Quake, Fortress Forever, or TF2V" but rather "TF2V or nothing" because nobody else was going to bother setting something up in the middle of the weekend.
