Windows on my laptop got messed up bad that reinstalling is the only thing I can do at this point. All the data is fine. I'm thinking of making a small partition to leave the original partition untouched.
My issue regarding this is updating Win7 after reinstalling it. There are an obscene amount of them and I preferably want to download them for offline installation. There's also the question of telemetry that I don't want on my machine.
Is there any tool or info to make this as easy as possible?
Startpage, google and duckduckgo weren't helpful.
I've read about Windows 10 having privacy issues, but I don't know if I should finally bite the bullet and use that instead.
