Heads up for those who are still looking for a new /v/ board. I know at least 3 places
8chan.se (formerly 8chan.moe)
Is managed by a former user from GamerGate threads, and Mark ( former BO of /v/) helps to financially maintain the site in exchange for managing /v/ (and only /v/). As for the framework used, I have no idea, but it works better than 8kun (although it has some annoying bugs). Because many people hate Mark and don't trust him when he said he doesn't have any admin power the site is a bit desolate. Currently it serves home for /co/ and a part of /v/.
9chan.tw (formerly 9chan.us)
Is managed by Josh, who also manages Kiwifarms). It uses an updated version of Infinity Next, which has excellent performance. Unfortunately, Josh is an asshole and decided to announce 9chan on 4chan and now boards like /b/ and /v/ are full of horrible shitposts, not to mention that Josh decided to keep all boards with less than 3 characters. Currently it servers home for cuckchaners who got banned on their home site and some loli/shota emergency bunkers.
Antares.oss (http://antares.oss:15000)
This is an experimental board created by a /v/ user after Fatchan fell. Unlike other boards, Antares uses an OpenNIC domain, so there is no risk of being deplatformed by the domain registrar. The disadvantage of this is that the site is inaccessible if the OpenNIC DNS is not used, although it is extremely easy to set up (and does not disturb the common use of the Internet). The owner of the site created the site as a bunker for /v/, but seems to accept requests to create new boards. Currently in development with a thread on https://julay.world/meta/res/9406.html. Seems to be the place where some Fatchan anons migrated to.

This site popped out of nowhere and made shill threads on the random boards of 9chan and 8chan. It allows board creation and the admin doesn't give a fuck about anything that isn't CP, but because of this it's probably that it won't last long. Currently populated by a bunch of pedos and shitposters.
