When it comes to user interface it looked like a step back from 8ch or smug (worse layout, even more insufferable captcha), filled with fun police threads (muh video games only webms, even mark wasn't so insufferable), and the userbase in general seemed even more autistic than what /v/ holds as a standard. 500 post meta designated Jim kvetching thead, but a corona thread is not allowed? Rampant rulefaggotry against muh offtop but barely any threads about videogames?
Use some reading comprehension. From what I've seen for several days before it went offline, most of the userbase congregated in designated bitching threads which I don't have a problem with under normal conditions, but these are not normal conditions.
I have managed to use it, and I don't say it was not a valid alternative - because it was one - but I cannot understand the awe that some people felt for this generic piece of code and a flawed community.

I didn't like it not because of rules, but because of their application. I find it extremely ironic when autists praise something as a next coming of free speech god, but the limitations are more severe than in the place they escaped from. And kvetch like little bitches because their tight, sensitive butts are hurt when someone would like to post a music webm in a proper thread.
As I said before, I saw that site as a valid but flawed alternative, but people like you and your behavior make me think that perhaps the /v/ community deserves to be fragmented and then ground into tiny pieces. I can safely use several different imageboards instead of one, and you with your second coming of IB Jesus can fuck right off and cry until there's nothing left. You deserve no mercy, and the whole ordeal that is happening is perhaps some sort of a comeuppance.
