This is just a total repeat of 2015 where some retarded member of the watkins family decided to shit all over us so we all wanted to leave but then every pissed pendejo with 7$ makes their own imageboard and shills it and all of a sudden you've got more than a half dozen options to choose from and nobody can decide on which one to go to.
I never went to fatchan or julay because I'm not happy to settle for migrating to a place thats just a modicum less rulecucked than here and thats the whole problem. This site is full of different demographics that want different things and now that hosting an unbridled free speech platform is harder than it was in 2014 boards like /pol/ and /v/ will deal with the rulecuckery as long as it doesn't effect their pet issue and that way their site isn't at risk, but for a lot of the people that were here since before the exodus thats just not good enough.
Its less laws being passed and more it becoming mainstream knowledge that you can simply make an email full of moral outrage to the host of a site you don't like and threaten a PR nightmare on them if they don't kowtow to you and take the site down and that actually fucking works.
So now we also have bad actors on the inside like ceb200 for example who will doubtlessly try to destroy any alternative that pops up that allows things he doesn't like, fatchan is a prime example of that.
